11" Waterbed Pillowtop Mattress

with 1 or 2 - 8" high water bladder(s)

This waterbed has a pillowtop approximately 3” deep, consisting of a 1” blanket of virgin wool and 2” blanket of Dupont Holofil foam/fiber blend. The pillowtop is zippered all the way around for cleaning or airing.

The bladder style bed is available with either one or two chambers and one or two heaters. Unlike the old style waterbed mattresses, the heater is under the bladder but the dial remains easily accessible. You can turn the temperature up, down or off.

You can also choose one or two bladders if you can not agree on whether to go waveless, full motion or somewhere in between. Another reason to choose two bladders is if one of you wants heat and the other one does not. If you choose two bladders, you have separate heater controls.

Lumbar support is achieved by shaping layers of foam/fiber material in the lumbar area of the mattress. The more foam/fiber in the bladder, the more waveless the flotation. Thus, lumbar support is at its highest with a waveless waterbed mattress and lowers to zero as you approach minimum wavelessness.

If you want the feeling of floating in luxurious comfort, you’re going to want a less waveless waterbed. Moderate wavelessness or about 50% waveless, provides the wonderful feeling of sleeping on water with moderate foam/fiber to provide moderate stiffness.

Options (2) and (3) are semi-waveless options. Option (4) is technically semi-waveless but on the full motion end of the scale.
